About National Foal Championship

The National Foal Championships were first run in 2006, with qualifying competitions held in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario. Foals are evaluated on conformation, movement and type and receive premium awards based on their final score: First Premium - 80 % and over, Second Premium - 70%- 79%.
To be eligible to compete, the owner must a CSHA member for the current year and the foal registered with the CSHA.

Participation was expanded in 2008 with a class in Atlantic Canada and for 2009 we hope to have Saskatchewan join in making a truly cross Canada Championship.

Rules of Eligibility and entry forms are available on the NFC Classes and Forms tab. All other enquiries should be directed to nfc@c-s-h-a.org or the National Office at csha@canadian-sport-horse.org
